Eugene Yelchin is a Russian-born character designer, concept artist, illustrator, and author of children’s books. His credits include character design for Gore Verbinski’s Rango, which received the Academy Award, as well as Annie Award for Character Design, and Wind in the Willows for Agbo Films. He designed the original Polar bears for Coca-Cola. In publishing, Yelchin is a National Book Award Finalist for The Assassination of Brangwain Spurge (presently in development with Heyday Films and Annapurna Pictures), Newbery Honor recipient for an illustrated novel Breaking Stalin’s Nose, Golden Kite Award recipient for an illustrated novel The Haunting of Falcon House, and many other books with a long list of awards.
